How To Get Here

The historic gardens of Compton Acres are located at Canford Cliffs between the Dorset seaside centre of Bournemouth and Poole.

Compton Acres is close to Sandbanks, which is signposted from the A338 and A35. Follow the brown and white tourist signs. The attraction is served by Wilts and Dorset bus numbers 50 from Bournemouth and Swanage and 52 from Poole.

If you are travelling from Poole, please follow the signs for the beach, there are castles painted on the road as well as sign post for the beach. Follow the Sandbank signs, (this will take you along Sandbanks Road, which leads into Shore Road) when you reach Evening Hill with the harbour on your right you will then see the brown Compton Acres sign. Drive up Haven Road and at the top, at the mini round about turn left into Canford Cliffs Road, our entrance is 500 yards on the left.
