We’re delighted to announce that this year we made a special donation to two of our favourite local charities. We presented some of our premium-quality British-grown trees, famed for their aromatic, shiny, green needles to both the Victoria Education Centre and Julia’s House in Poole. Decorated and ready for the season, the trees are promising to bring a little magic to the charitable establishments over Christmas.
Staff from our Plant Centre came up with the idea to donate the trees as a wonderful seasonal gesture. Giving back to the local community, they delivered the 7ft Christmas Trees in person to both charities.
To give you a little more information, The Victoria Education Centre is a special community charity, which educates students with physical disabilities, complex conditions and additional needs. Another charity close to our hearts, Julia’s House is an award-winning children’s hospice dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families across Dorset and Wiltshire.
Having brought in an abundance of non-drop Nordmann Firs and scented Fraser Firs this year, we were pleased to gift the most magical of festive symbols to the charities which do so much to care for children and young adults in the region.
