General Information
- The Compton Acres gardens are open to the public seven days a week.
- No pre-booking is required for entry to our gardens.
- The Compton Acres gardens are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
- On New Year’s Day, the Café and gardens are closed.
- Opening times subject to variations without notice.
- Paid entry to the gardens is not necessary to visit our Café Tea Rooms, Plant Centre, Ticket & Gift Shop, and Gifted Moments Shop.
- Visitors to Compton Acres can also enjoy free parking.
- Well behaved dogs are allowed in the gardens on a lead.
- The gardens are wheelchair accessible, though paths in some areas are steep and require a person of sufficient strength to push and control the wheelchair. A gardener can be called upon if assistance is required.
- Disabled toilets are located at the ticket office and in the Café Tea Rooms.
- Please request a wheelchair map from the ticket office upon your arrival.
- RHS members get free admission to the gardens (named card holder only) from 1st November to 31st March.
- No professional photo shoots or group shoots of any description are allowed without prior written approval.
